Join us in building the IT services of the future! Information management services play a key role in enabling smooth everyday work for both our staff and our customers. We are now looking for an architect for our IT cloud capacity services, to be responsible for the architecture, technical development and lifecycle management of capacity services as part of Pihlajalinna's information management function.
In this role you can influence the definition of the architecture, technology solutions and development direction of Pihlajalinna's capacity services, and help ensure the continuity of business-critical services within the healthcare operating environment.
💡 What does the work involve?

In this role you will define the target architecture, technical standards and technology roadmap for capacity services, and guide the lifecycle of the services from planning to continuous development. You will be responsible for the sizing of cloud and capacity services, the adequacy of capacity, performance forecasting, and the design and development of continuity and recovery solutions.
In your work you will also take part in modernising legacy solutions and defining architecture principles related to the use of cloud services. In addition, you will be responsible for the technical guidance of capacity, storage and backup solutions, maintain technical documentation, and act as a support and sparring partner for experts.
In this role you act as owner of the capacity services and work in close collaboration with the service architect, other information management service teams, the information security function, business continuity and risk management, and external service providers. The aim is to ensure that capacity services are available, performant, secure and predictable throughout their entire lifecycle.
This is a permanent, full-time position. You may work in Tampere or Helsinki, and the work includes extensive remote working options and flexible working hours. The role includes taking part in on-call and incident arrangements of information management.
