Knightec Group is investing in Data & AI and is now looking for a Solution Architect who wants to help build up our offering. Here you will have a key role combining technical leadership and client dialogue to establish Gothenburg as a strong hub for Data and AI.

Responsibilities

You will become part of Knightec's Software & Cloud business area, where in Gothenburg we are around 180 skilled and committed colleagues. As Solution Architect you will be an important driving force in both projects and the development of our Data & AI investment.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Architecture and implementation of modern data platforms

• Working on cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure or Databricks

• Technical leader in client projects

• Pre-sales and client dialogues

• Building and developing our partnership with Databricks, AWS or Azure

• Helping to recruit and coach future Data Engineers and Architects

• Defining best practices, governance and delivery methodology

Qualifications

We are looking for you who combine deep technical expertise with a consultative approach and business understanding. You are used to taking responsibility for complex solutions and feel comfortable in dialogue with both clients and partners.

We believe you have:

• Expertise in architecture (AWS, Azure or Databricks)

• Strong curiosity about Data Engineering

• A good understanding of cloud platforms, where AWS is a strong merit

• An interest in working closely with clients and contributing to pre-sales

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent

• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious if you also have experience of:

• Unity Catalog

• Delta Lake

• dbt

• Terraform

• AI/ML on AWS, Azure or Databricks

Practical information

This is a full-time position, based at our office in Gothenburg, Lindolmsallén 2. Travel to clients may occur as part of the role. The start date is as soon as possible or by agreement.
