About the role

Translated into English from Danish by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

If you are driven by creating new customer dialogues, are curious about what really matters to the customer, and thrive best when sales is about solving a real business need, then we should talk!

We are now looking for a Senior Account Executive for our sales team in Copenhagen, who will help bring our new product to market.

For twenty years, House of Control has helped companies get a grip on their contracts, and now we are taking the next step with James. Regulations such as NIS2 and DORA continuously place new and stricter requirements on how companies manage suppliers, risk and documentation, and for many it is both complex and time-consuming to maintain oversight and ensure compliance. James is the AI agent in our new AI-native solution, which helps our customers find, understand, monitor and act on information related to contracts, compliance and supplier risk. James captures changes, risks and obligations and highlights what requires attention, so that our customers are always one step ahead.

About the role and what a day can look like

With us, you build a significant part of your pipeline yourself through active prospecting, with good support from the marketing department, an experienced sales team and the rest of the organisation. You work with solutions within contract management, lease accounting (IFRS 16 and FRS 102) and compliance, and you speak with both subject matter experts and decision-makers within finance, security, legal and compliance.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • have advisory dialogues about real challenges and risks at the customer

  • use AI tools as a natural part of the sales process, from research and prospecting to follow-up

  • own the entire sales process from first contact to signed agreement

What we are looking for

The most important thing for us is that you enjoy taking initiative and reaching out to new customers. You can learn a great deal else here, together with the rest of the team.

In addition, we believe you will thrive if you recognise yourself in some of the following:

  • you quickly get to grips with complex issues and are comfortable in dialogue with C-level decision-makers

  • you are curious about new technology and use AI as a natural tool in sales work

  • you are independent and structured and drive your own processes from start to signature

  • you have knowledge of or interest in lease accounting (IFRS 16 and FRS 102) or compliance (DORA and NIS2)

  • you have a higher education within economics, finance, IT, cybersecurity or similar, or equivalent professional understanding built through work

The last two points are an advantage, not a requirement, and you do not need to recognise yourself in all of it to apply. We are more interested in what you can achieve and want to learn than in a "perfect CV".

What you get with us

You are joining a phase where much is still being shaped, with a short path from idea to execution and a real opportunity to influence how we take James to market. At House of Control there is a high tempo, great ambitions and employees who like to challenge how things have been done before.

You help shape the product, not just the sales. James is new and much is still open. Through customer dialogues you gain insight into what customers really struggle with, what they ask about and what they do not understand, and you help shape how the product develops further. The path from a customer conversation to a change in the product is short with us. You do not just sell what we have built - you help decide what we build.

We are around 80 employees, and you become an important part of a development-oriented team. We spar across teams, stand up for each other and share what works. You own your own customers, but you do not stand alone with them, and different backgrounds and perspectives make us better.

House of Control is a company with short decision paths, while at the same time being part of one of Europe's largest software environments, Visma. You gain access to professional networks, courses and colleagues across the Visma companies, while there are good opportunities for both professional development and further career. In addition, you become part of a larger social community with shared gatherings and events across the companies, so you get the closeness and belonging of a small team while having the opportunities and community that come with being part of something bigger.

We offer a flexible and hybrid working day in new premises in Carlsberg Byen, as well as good pension and insurance schemes through Visma.

Application

We assess applications on an ongoing basis and want to start as soon as possible, but are happy to wait for the right person. If you have questions about the role, please contact Petter Wolden, Head of Sales, by phone on [contact details removed] or [contact details removed].
