Team Lead & Software Developer (Engineering Manager)

We are a team of five Team Leads (two of them Team Leads in Copenhagen) covering a growing number of consultants, and we now need one more on the team. It is a prerequisite that you have a technical foundation, as you will also solve development tasks yourself at our customers. The role is designed as a combination of management and work as a consultant. Your time will thus be split in two, so that you function as a developer and as Team Lead for a group of consultants. The division is adapted to your experience and the team's needs, but the ambition is that you are technically strong enough to be a credible sparring partner for the developers you lead - and not just their administrative contact person.

At IT Minds we want our managers to have real responsibility and mandate. Therefore, all Team Leads also have responsibility for parts of our PAC (People & Culture) tasks. This means that you will help set the framework for how we work with competence development, employer branding and the like. In short, this job is a versatile management role in which you are given a mandate, while at the same time working as a consultant to maintain your connection to the technical side.

Your tasks:

As Team Lead, your most important responsibility is to ensure that everyone on your team is ready to be deployed and performs well at our customers. This means, among other things, that you:

• Continuously lead and develop your own team of software developers.

• Collaborate with sales to ensure the matching of consultants to assignments.

• Collect feedback from customers and use it to develop your consultants' competences.

• Help promote the culture at IT Minds to create a good working environment and motivation.

In working with the PAC tasks, you will get:

• Responsibility for initiatives related to employee wellbeing, competence development and the like.

• You have your own influence on how the area is run and where you see the greatest potential.

• Sparring and input from colleagues, so you are equipped for the task.

Alongside your tasks as Team Lead, you are expected to solve tasks at our customers. This means that:

• You work as a software consultant on projects that match your motivation and your professional level.

• You are in close dialogue with our customers and help choose the right technology for the given task.

Who are you?

We imagine that you:

• Have a solid technical background as a developer and can use it to understand and spar with your team.

• Are motivated by developing other people - not just code.

• Have formal management experience.

• Are good at building trust and thrive with both structure and dialogue.

• You have led the way in using AI in your development process, so you can tell good use from bad.

• Take ownership and make things happen without waiting to be asked.

• Are comfortable navigating between professional sparring, people management and staffing dialogue with sales.

• Speak Danish as your native language.
