UX Designer with experience of iOS and Android who enjoys AI

We are looking for a senior UX designer who thrives on working independently on large projects.

At Rebel and Bird we work with high-level strategic UX design, where we create digital products that drive engagement, loyalty and growth. We are now looking for a UX Lead who can both lead and facilitate the UX work but also create both UX and UI design themselves - a role where you are often the only designer in our client projects.

We work in small, cross-functional teams, often in close collaboration with the client but sometimes working entirely within the client's team. We build everything from concepts and strategies to finished digital products.

As a UX designer at Rebel and Bird you will:

• Need to master Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Work with AI-enhanced tools such as Figma Make, Claude Design, Claude, MCP, and so on. You should have experimented a great deal with these to fit in with us.

• Work independently as a UX designer on larger projects, often as the only design resource.

• Lead and facilitate UX processes, from research and strategy to prototyping and testing.

• Create both UX and UI design, including wireframes, prototypes and finished UI components.

• Turn the client's needs into concrete digital solutions that create value for both users and the business.

• Work closely with developers, strategists and product owners to ensure a seamless experience throughout the product development process.

• Present and argue for design decisions in a convincing way, both to clients and internally.

• Lead and coach other designers as needed, even though you often work independently on your projects.

To succeed in the role we believe you have:

• At least 10 years of experience in UX design, where you have worked with well-known digital products or services.

• Documented experience of both leading design processes and doing hands-on UI design.

• Experience of working independently on larger projects, where you are the only UX designer but collaborate with developers, strategists and product owners.

• Ability to combine user-centred design with business strategy.

• A strong understanding of UI design, interaction design and digital design systems.

• Ability to facilitate workshops and present to decision-makers.

• Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.

• Experience of conversion optimisation, data-driven design and experimentation.

• Experience of working with complex digital ecosystems and platforms.

• Experience of Service Design.
• Competence in WCAG
