Senior IoT/Cloud Engineer

Our Sport Products division is looking for a Senior IoT/Cloud Engineer (f/m/d) on a permanent contract based in Lille or Paris.

The "Connected Products" team is at the heart of innovation at Decathlon. Our mission? To design a complete technology stack, from the connected object to the Cloud, to offer an enhanced sporting experience to our users worldwide. Made up of passionate experts, our team tackles major technological challenges linked to scalability and data reliability. YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION

In an agile and collaborative environment, you will act as a technical reference to drive our CSP Core IoT platform. Your responsibilities include:

• Quality engineering: Design, develop and deliver clean, tested and maintained code, while ensuring deadlines are met.

• Technical leadership: Guide the team in developing new features and implementing high-performance REST APIs.

• Operational excellence: Follow engineering best practices to reach the highest standards of our product maturity matrix.

• Architecture & Scalability: Design reusable components and anticipate the growth in load and the reliability of our Cloud solutions.

• Monitoring & Improvement: Use operational data and sector trends to suggest continuous optimisations of stability and performance.
  
  

TECHNICAL STACK

• Cloud: AWS IoT Core, Lambda, S3, Serverless.

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot.

• Infrastructure & CI/CD: Terraform, Containers (Kubernetes), GitHub, GitHub Actions.

• Data & Messaging: Postgres, Kafka, Messaging Queues.
  
  

WHAT YOU BRING

• Proven expertise in the IoT domain, with in-depth mastery of AWS IoT Core.

• The ability to design robust and scalable technical architectures.

• Technical ease in working with Kubernetes.

• Experience in functional facilitation (pair programming, code reviews) to help grow the team.
