GML A/S
Required skills
About the role
Translated into English from Danish by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.
Would you like to help reduce sickness absence and strengthen workplaces’ ability to retain employees in working life?
Sickness absence and psychological ill-being are among the major challenges in the Danish labour market. Every day, people risk losing their footing in working life, while managers look for effective ways to prevent, handle and retain employees.
That is why we are looking for an experienced senior consultant who wants to make a difference.
Your main task will be to create value and support behavioural change among managers, HR, shop stewards and workplaces, both public and private, across Denmark. Through advisory services, teaching and development programmes, you will strengthen their ability to prevent sickness absence, handle complex absence situations and develop a management practice that produces noticeable results.
The insights and experience you gain from working with specific companies will also help you turn them into general guides, webinars, tools and other solutions that can strengthen the work on sickness absence and the psychosocial work environment for even more managers and workplaces.
The jobThe assignments are based on customers’ specific challenges and range from advisory work, presentations and workshops to leadership programmes, skills development and longer-term organisational initiatives.
One day you may facilitate a leadership programme on sickness absence in a municipality. The next, you may work with a company to use absence data to identify connections and prioritise the right effort, or advise on the difficult conversations related to sickness absence.
Based at our office in Aarhus, you will carry out assignments for both public and private workplaces across the country. You should expect to be on the road around two travel days each week and more during some periods.
Your goals will be to
create noticeable value for customers through high-quality advisory services, teaching and development programmes
strengthen workplaces’ ability to prevent sickness absence, improve the psychosocial work environment and retain employees
turn your practical insights and professional trends into guides, tools, webinars and solutions that can be used widely
maintain strong relationships and contribute to sales and the development of consulting services
You have solid experience and knowledge in preventing and handling sickness absence and the psychosocial work environment.
You see sickness absence as more than individual cases. You have an eye for the structures, leadership approaches, data and work processes that support prevention, retention and a sustainable return to work.
You know public workplaces from the inside or through extensive assignment work and can navigate their organisation, leadership levels and collaboration structures. You also have experience with or insight into the daily operations of private companies, preferably small and medium-sized enterprises.
You:
have experience with management consulting and organisational development programmes
are a skilled facilitator, teacher and presenter
can calibrate and translate your professional knowledge so that solutions fit the customer’s challenges and business
have experience with or an interest in using data to identify connections, improve initiatives and follow up on results
are motivated by making a difference for people, workplaces and the labour market, and see sickness absence as an important societal priority
thrive in the balance between independent customer responsibility and a strong professional community
take responsibility, create momentum and actively contribute to shared results
You have a relevant higher education degree, a driving licence and the ability to carry out assignments across the country.
What you get at CabiYou will join an employment-focused team of 18 consultants, who together cover a broad range of areas including the labour market, employment, sickness absence, psychosocial work environment, inclusion, neurodiversity and social responsibility.
With us, you always have close professional sparring and at the same time great freedom and responsibility in your own assignments.
We work in a matrix organisation, where depending on the assignment you collaborate with consultant colleagues, the communications and marketing team, project managers and project coordinators.
You will be based at our office in Aarhus and become part of a workplace with:
a meaningful job with significance for people, workplaces and society
a strong professional and collegial community
great freedom and influence over your own assignment portfolio
flexible working hours and the option to work from home
