We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer Java to join a strategic project within the financial sector, taking part in the design and evolution of highly critical platforms.

The position is aimed at professionals with experience in backend development, solution architecture and distributed environments, with an interest in adopting new engineering practices and AI tools applied to the development lifecycle.

What will you do?

• Design and implement backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

• Take part in the evolution of microservices-based architectures.

• Collaborate on technical and solution design decisions.

• Work with APIs, integrations and distributed systems.

• Take part in initiatives related to quality, testing and automation.

• Contribute to the adoption of AI tools within the development process.

📍 Hybrid working model, with 1-2 days a week on site in offices located in central Madrid and the rest of the working day remote.
