About the role

Translated into English from German by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

At Efficio we are more than just a consultancy: we are a team of committed experts with the shared goal of sustainably transforming Procurement and Supply Chain functions. Our mission is to create sustainable and measurable value for our clients through innovative solutions and in-depth industry knowledge. Join a dynamic environment in which your skills and ideas make a real difference.

Efficio is the world's largest specialist consultancy for Procurement and Supply Chain, with offices in Europe, North America and the Middle East. Our diverse team consists of more than 1,000 employees from over 60 nations who speak more than 40 languages - and we continue to grow strongly!

For our office in Dusseldorf we are looking for reinforcement for our growing team of over 50 employees.

Our consultants in Dusseldorf support clients both in Germany and across Europe and also have the opportunity to work globally. In doing so, we offer our clients flexible support - from short-term potential analyses through the rapid realisation of savings to long-term partnerships, with the aim of creating sustainable and measurable value.

As a Senior Consultant (SC) you take full responsibility for complex workstreams or several smaller workstreams and are supported by Junior Consultants. You are perceived as a subject matter expert (SME) both internally and by our clients and you take on the following tasks, among others:

  • Independent management of complex workstreams or several smaller workstreams, often supported by Junior Consultants
  • Leadership and development of Junior Consultants on projects, and ensuring the application of Efficio methods and processes
  • Carrying out and managing complex analyses, including with difficult-to-access data, and developing well-founded conclusions and creative solution recommendations based on your expertise
  • Advising our clients and contributing to the development of solutions for complex challenges that deliver sustainable results and measurable value
  • Independently building and effectively managing relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Planning and preparing the relevant documentation for your own workstream
  • Contributing to the recruiting process for potential Junior Consultants

Our collaborative and inclusive corporate culture sets us apart. At Efficio, colleagues with different backgrounds, ideas and perspectives come together to develop innovative solutions for our clients. We are therefore looking for new team members with strong communication skills, empathy and the ability to build strong relationships, and to help actively shape our culture as we continue to grow.

We encourage our teams to proactively contribute new ideas, question existing approaches and develop innovative solutions. For this, strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills are just as important as confident use of Excel and PowerPoint. We are looking for team members who enjoy analysing and solving complex challenges and who already bring experience in doing so - either from a leading management consultancy or a relevant position in industry.

Attractive development opportunities are an important part of our offering. We therefore value ambitious individuals who want to proactively shape their careers according to their goals and interests.

To meet the requirements of our clients, we expect a certain willingness to travel. You are welcome to tell us about your personal preferences as part of your application.

We also look forward to learning more about further skills and experience you bring. Particularly interesting to us are:

  • Fluent German and English
  • Experience in management consulting at a leading consultancy, ideally with a focus on Procurement and/or Supply Chain
  • Experience or strong interest in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement Transformation, Supply Chain, Operations, Infrastructure or Capital Projects
  • Proven experience of working closely with senior stakeholders on the client side
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability, as well as the ability to identify key questions and draw well-founded conclusions
  • High attention to detail and a strong "hands-on" mentality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership capability
  • Ability to confidently question and improve existing ways of working, to recognise opportunities and to develop innovative solutions that create real value for our clients
