About the role

Translated into English from French by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

As part of our growth, we are looking for an Operational Excellence Manager in Brive.

As a true hands-on professional, you will take responsibility for the overall mapping of factory flows to identify productivity opportunities and support teams towards optimised, smooth and high-performing processes.

In this role, your responsibilities are:

  • Mapping and Diagnosis: Map in detail the flows of parts, operators and information within the factory.

  • Process Analysis: Analyse movements, work in progress, waiting times and bottlenecks to identify operations that add no value.

  • Layout and Ergonomics: Study the layout of workstations and production equipment.

  • Improvement Scenarios: Propose a target organisation, quantify the potential gains and define the associated action plan.

  • Field Deployment: Actively support the implementation of solutions on the shop floor in close collaboration with the teams.

Profile

  • Training and Experience: Holding a Master's degree or engineering degree in Industrial Engineering / Lean / Operational Excellence, you have solid experience of around 10 years in a production environment.

  • Sector: Prior experience in machining, mechanical engineering or aeronautics is highly valued.

  • Methods / Lean Expertise: Mastery of tools and methods: VSM (Value Stream Mapping), Spaghetti Diagram, Lean Manufacturing, load/capacity analysis, 5S, SMED, as well as Kanban/FIFO flows.

  • Soft Skills: A genuinely hands-on profile with excellent interpersonal skills, able to observe operations closely, engage constructively with operators and turn diagnosis into concrete, measurable improvements.

All our positions are open to people recognised as disabled workers.

Why Join This Adventure?

  • A role with a strong strategic and operational impact within a leading industrial site.

  • The opportunity to deliver large-scale continuous improvement projects.
