As a Senior Sales Engineer, you are a technical trusted advisor for strategic customer projects covering:
• Healthcare Interoperability
• Modern Data Platforms
• Cloud and API Architectures
• Analytics & AI
• Generative and Agentic AI in the Healthcare Environment
You combine technological excellence with strategic consulting and help customers transform complex healthcare data landscapes into future-proof platforms.
In doing so, you work closely with experienced international experts from Sales Engineering, Product Management, Architecture and Professional Services.
Your Role
You accompany demanding customer projects across the entire technical sales cycle - from the first strategic discussion through to architecture workshops, proofs of concept and executive presentations.
In doing so, you are not only a technical point of contact but an active shaper of modern healthcare and AI strategies.
Your responsibilities include:
• Advising customers on modern healthcare architectures and data platforms
• Positioning interoperability, analytics and AI solutions
• Conducting executive briefings, architecture workshops and product demonstrations
• Developing solution concepts and technical strategies
• Supporting proofs of concept and innovation projects
• Advising on HL7, FHIR, IHE, APIs and cloud architectures
• Discussing modern AI and GenAI approaches in the healthcare environment
• Collaborating with international experts from Sales, Product Management and Engineering
• Supporting strategic customers in their digital transformation
What You Bring
You have a strong technical foundation and move confidently between architecture, customer consulting and strategic communication.
Ideally, you bring experience from a comparable role at a:
• Healthcare software provider
• Integration platform provider
• Cloud/data platform company
• Consulting firm
• or from a technical architecture/engineering role in the healthcare environment.
You also bring:
• Several years of experience in presales, solution engineering, architecture or software engineering
• Very good understanding of modern healthcare interoperability
• Experience with HL7, FHIR, APIs and integration architectures
• Understanding of modern data platforms, analytics and data fabric approaches
• Interest in or experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG or Agentic AI
• Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and convincingly
• Confident presence with technical teams as well as with management and executive level
• Very good German and English skills
