Then Picnic is the right place for you! We are looking for a team lead for our last mile location (hub) in Regensburg. The hubs are supplied with our fully picked goods from the central warehouse (Fulfillment Center) and, as distribution centres, are the final station of our logistics chain before the purchases land on the customer's kitchen table.

Be there from the start: in mid-November we open our new hub in Regensburg! An earlier start is also possible - we can organise onboarding at one of our other locations until then.

What awaits you 

 

• Team leadership: Recruit your team and coach it to success. You can also plan great events to strengthen team spirit further.
• Development into a leader: You not only manage the shift plans, but also take over the onboarding and development of the runners (drivers) in one of our hubs, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
• Delivery management: You take responsibility when the trucks arrive with fresh goods and make sure everything checks out! And if something is missing, you quickly organise replacement deliveries - you always keep track of logistics at your location.
• Process management: You keep operations running by continuously focusing on our key performance indicators (KPIs) and guarantee that everything runs safely and like clockwork, true to our motto: "Safety First".
• Teamwork: In close contact with the Customer Success team, our central warehouse (Fulfillment Center) and other hubs, you make our customers happy.
• On-time departures: Thanks to you, our drivers are always on time on their way to our customers so that we can keep our promised time window.
• Bring in your ideas: From coordinating the repair of our electric vehicles to designing the hub layout through to recruiting our runners - your ideas help us keep growing together and take our logistics processes to a new level.

 

 

What you bring 

• A degree or completed vocational training in logistics, retail or similar fields. 
• Initial experience in leading teams - either professionally or because you have already coached another successful team.
• Fluent German and basic English skills.
• You hold a valid class B driving licence.
• Good communication skills and a confident manner.
• You enjoy making decisions based on figures and facts.
