We are looking to recruit a partner from the employment law area to join a multidisciplinary legal boutique in Barcelona.

The professional who joins us must have technical rigour, and we place particular value on the contribution of their own client portfolio, as well as the possibility of joining with a team, although this is not an essential requirement.

Main responsibilities:

- Lead the practice of Employment Law and Social Security Law.

- Design the legal strategy in matters of particular complexity.

- Supervise and guarantee the technical quality of case files.

- Advise clients directly on high-profile transactions and employment disputes.

- Drive the continuous improvement of the department's procedures, methodologies and quality standards.

- Win new clients and develop business opportunities.

- Identify cross-selling opportunities with the other areas of the firm.

- Prepare service and fee proposals.

- Take part in sales initiatives, professional events and networking activities.

- Take part in transactions that require cross-disciplinary advice.

- Contribute to the development of comprehensive solutions for clients.

- Represent the firm before clients, institutions and business organisations.

- Collaborate on technical publications and knowledge-generation activities.

- Contribute to the positioning and profile of the firm in the market.

Requirements:

- Degree in Law (Licenciatura or Grado en Derecho).

- Practising membership of the bar association (colegiación en ejercicio).

- Minimum of 10 years' experience in employment law.

- Demonstrable ability to develop business and manage client relationships.

- Strategic vision and a results orientation.

- Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.

- Ownership of a client portfolio or a proven capacity to generate one will be particularly valued.

Offer:

- Appointment as a partner in a multidisciplinary firm with a very good reputation.

- Participation in the strategy and decision-making of the firm.

- Autonomy to develop and consolidate the employment law practice.

- Collaborative, highly specialised environment oriented towards excellence.

- Opportunity to develop a long-term professional project with a direct impact on the growth of the firm
