About the role

Translated into English from Danish by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

The role carries responsibility for shaping the company's strategic direction, not merely supporting it.

Gram Clean Air is looking for a CFO who can combine strong financial insight with business understanding and leadership. You will have a position with significant influence, where you contribute to turning the company's ambitions into concrete results and ensure a solid foundation for future growth.

About the position

As CFO at Gram Clean Air, you are an equal member of the executive management alongside the company's CTO and CCO. On one point, however, the role weighs more heavily than the other two: as CFO, you are the executive management's permanent point of contact to the owner and the board. You therefore play a central role in ensuring a strong basis for decision-making through reporting, analyses, strategic presentations and board materials.

You have overall responsibility for the financial and administrative functions and become an important sparring partner for the owner, the board and the rest of the management. At the same time, you act as an important link between the organisation, executive management and the board, and actively contribute to the company's continued development.

The role has both strategic and operational aspects. You thrive with a broad responsibility and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves when required. As CFO at Gram Clean Air, you are close to both the decisions and the day-to-day operations and have a natural hands-on approach to the tasks. You contribute actively across the organisation and ensure progress in both strategic and operational initiatives.

Your primary areas of responsibility:

  • Overall responsibility for financial management, reporting and budget processes

  • Preparation of forecasts, business cases and decision-making basis

  • Ownership of selected strategic initiatives with independent profit responsibility

  • Responsibility for board reporting, board materials and follow-up on the company's strategic initiatives

  • Responsibility for financing, liquidity management and investment appraisals

  • Leadership and development of the finance, HR, purchasing and administration functions

  • Optimisation of purchasing, supplier agreements and cost structures with a focus on efficiency and value creation

  • Participation in and driving of cross-functional development, improvement and growth projects

Your profile

You have a strong background in finance and a solid business understanding. You are motivated by turning financial insights into concrete actions and decisions, and you thrive in a role with broad contact across the organisation. At the same time, you are able to create structure, progress and financial overview in a complex everyday environment.

As a person, you are analytical, structured and proactive. You work naturally across the organisation, build trusting relationships and are able to communicate complex issues in an understandable and constructive way. At the same time, you are a visible leader who creates direction, takes responsibility and contributes to strong collaboration across the organisation.

In addition, you:

  • Have a relevant business education, such as cand.merc.aud, HD or similar

  • Have solid experience with financial management, reporting and analysis

  • Have experience with leading and developing employees

  • Have an understanding of strategic business development and performance management

  • Have experience from a manufacturing company

  • Have a commercial mindset and see data, AI and Business Intelligence as tools to drive growth

  • Command Danish and English at a high professional level

Gram Clean Air offers

You will have a key role in a well-run and internationally oriented company with short decision-making paths and a high degree of influence. As a member of executive management, you have a great opportunity to shape the company's continued development and contribute directly to its results and growth.

You become part of an ambitious company with strong values, high professional standards and an environment where collaboration, accountability and development go hand in hand. Here you get the opportunity to work closely with decisions and help create the foundation for the next phase of the company's development.
