We are looking for a Head of Control Systems

Do you want to help ensure reliable control and monitoring of our power plants?

Å Energi Hydropower is seeking a head of control systems who will be our primary expert resource in control systems, automation, and regulation technology. You will play a central role in the work of further developing and ensuring a high technical standard for the control systems in our hydropower plants.

The position is part of the Technical Support department in the Operations Centre, and you will work closely with the operations organisation, project teams, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

As the head of control systems, you will among other things:

• Be the expert responsible for control systems in Å Energi Hydropower.

• Conduct condition assessments and technical follow-up of control systems.

• Contribute to the analysis and management of OT security threats.

• Provide technical support for rehabilitation and new construction projects.

• Ensure that technical requirements and specifications are up to date.

• Participate in testing and commissioning of control systems.

• Assist the operations organisation with troubleshooting, analysis, and maintenance.

• Develop and further enhance maintenance routines and strategies for control systems.

• Contribute to the standardisation and further development of the field within the company.

We are looking for someone who has

• Technical college, bachelor's degree or higher education in electrical power, automation or equivalent.

• Good knowledge of control systems, PLCs, relay protection, and regulation technology.

• Experience working with OT security.

• Experience in designing, testing, and commissioning control systems.

• Desire to gain knowledge about industrial networks and communication protocols.

• Familiarity with relevant standards, regulations, and safety requirements.

• Driving licence class B.
