At itm8 we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who is passionate about building robust data foundations and turning complex needs into technical solutions that work in practice.
In our Business Intelligence team we work with some of Denmark's most ambitious companies and help them build data platforms that create insight, automation and new opportunities.
You will become part of a Business Intelligence team of 13 specialists, where professional sparring and knowledge sharing play a big part in everyday life. Here, experienced architects, specialists and new talent work closely together, and you will have ample opportunity to shape both solutions, working methods and the professional direction.
Your role
As a Senior Data Engineer you will play a central role in developing modern data and analytics platforms. You will work closely with both customers and colleagues and have significant influence on how solutions are designed and implemented.
Among other things, you will:
Design, develop and maintain data platforms in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
Build and optimise data pipelines, integration solutions and ELT processes.
Work with data modelling, performance optimisation and data processing in SQL and Python.
Provide professional sparring to customers on technical solutions and translate business needs into scalable architecture.
Contribute to the development of our framework, best practices and new initiatives within AI.
We are looking for a teammate who
Has solid experience with data engineering and thrives on taking responsibility for technical solutions from analysis to implementation. You work independently, take ownership of your solutions and are motivated by being the person others turn to for professional sparring. Whether you already have an established senior profile or are ready to take the next step in that direction is less important. What matters is that you have the professional weight, curiosity and independence needed to create value for both customers and colleagues.
We imagine that you:
Have experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platforms or comparable cloud-based data environments.
Are strong in SQL and have practical experience with Python.
Have worked with CI/CD, DevOps processes and modern data engineering principles.
Are motivated both by technical depth and by dialogue with customers and colleagues.
Communicate fluently in Danish and English, both in writing and verbally.
What matters most is not your education, but your experience, curiosity and ability to turn technology into solutions that create value.
