## **Job Description**

You will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance/operation of the systems that support PlayStation manufacturing.  
The systems in charge are mission-critical environments requiring high security, availability and quality.  
While collaborating with stakeholders across diverse areas such as hardware design, manufacturing and supply chain, we deploy systems on a global scale.

- Requirements analysis and system requirements definition from stakeholders (mainly the PlayStation product design and manufacturing departments)
- Promotion of system and software architecture design, development, testing and deployment in on-premises / container-based environments
- Design, construction and operation of applications and systems with high availability and high security in mind
- Promotion of performance improvement, quality improvement and continuous operational improvement
- Analysis of business requirements and system issues, and system design considering data consistency and transactions
- Technical leadership of development from the technical side, in collaboration with development teams including external partners
- Technical review, quality control, progress management and promotion of collaboration with external development partners
- Promotion of overall system efficiency, drawing on knowledge of on-premises / container-based environments and software development

## Requirements
### 【Essential (MUST)】

- Experience in application design / development / maintenance in IT systems where high availability, high quality and security are emphasised
- Experience in system development and operation in Linux environments
- Experience in development and operation using container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Full-stack development experience
- Experience in API design and implementation
- Experience in system design and development using relational databases
- Experience in analysis and modelling of complex business domains
- Experience in system design considering consistency and transactions
- Experience in developing and operating large-scale systems
- English technical communication skills
    - Level sufficient for meetings with global members, design reviews, technical discussions and document preparation
- Native-level Japanese

### 【Desirable (WANT)】
- Development experience using Go / React / C++ etc.
- Experience in system programming using Rust
- Database development experience using SQL / PL-SQL
- Knowledge and experience in security design
- Development experience with, or strong interest in, AI/LLM
- Interest in PlayStation or games
