About the role

Translated into English from Norwegian by Korum. The employer's original wording is on their site.

Mack is the pride of the north - and the world's northernmost brewery. With roots going back to 1877, they have for generations delivered quality products to the Norwegian people, always with their hearts in the north and their eyes on the future.

Some things are simply better in North Norwegian.

Now Mack is strengthening its commercial push in grocery retail, and is looking for you who want to help shape how the brand wins space, relevance and growth in the years to come.

About the role

This is a role for you who thrive at the intersection of relationships, analysis and execution.

As Senior Key Account Manager you will have a central position in working with Mack's largest grocery customers. You will work both strategically and operationally, with responsibility for developing partnerships, securing good agreements and creating profitable growth over time. The position reports to the Sales Director Grocery.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overall responsibility for selected key grocery accounts
- You will follow up and develop some of Mack's most important customer relationships, with an eye on both long-term value and short-term impact.

Development of customer and sales strategies - You will help shape how Mack works with the grocery chains, with clear priorities and commercial targets.

Negotiations and agreement development - The role will involve negotiating terms, promotions and partnership models - where both relationships and business understanding come into play.

Analysis and insight work - You will actively use data and market knowledge to identify opportunities, adjust course and ensure good decisions.

Close cross-functional collaboration - You will work together with, among others, marketing, category and the wider sales team to ensure coherence and execution in store.

Contributing category and market insight - In dialogue with customers you will be able to use insight as a tool to create better solutions and stronger partnerships.

Who we think you are

Experience in KAM or category work in grocery/FMCG - Perhaps you have worked for some years with key accounts or category, and know the structures and dynamics of the market well.

Commercial understanding and execution ability - You see what creates value, and are able to turn insight into concrete actions that deliver results.

Confident in analysis and use of insight - You are comfortable with tools such as Nielsen, POS data or similar and use them actively in your work.

Good at relationships and negotiations - You build trust over time, and thrive in situations where you must balance different considerations and interests.

Structured and clear in communication - You are able to explain, anchor and drive processes both internally and externally.

Relevant education - You probably have education in economics, marketing or similar, and use it as a tool in practice.

Why Mack?

A key role in one of Norway's most tradition-rich and exciting breweries: You become part of a brand with roots deeper than most - and ambitions that reach far beyond Tromsø. Mack is both history and future.

Opportunity to make your mark: You get trust and room to influence, and help shape Mack's strategy in the grocery market

A strong team with real commitment: Here people work who care. About each other, about the craft and about the products sent out into the world. You become part of a culture marked by team spirit, pride and North Norwegian perseverance.

Professional development and flexibility: You get room to grow, both as a professional and colleague - with competitive terms and flexible frameworks.

Ready to join the team? We look forward to hearing from you.

About Macks Ølbryggeri
Mack, the world's northernmost brewery, was established by Ludwig Markus Mack in Tromsø in 1877 and is still independent and family-owned today. The group consists of Macks Ølbryggeri AS, Ludwig Mack Brygghus AS and Mack Concepts AS, as well as a property portfolio consisting of Mack Øst AS (46,25%) and Tromsø Industripark (33,4%). The Mack group has 133 employees and had gross revenue of just over NOK 1 bn in 2023. The brewery itself is today located in Nordkjosbotn in Balsfjord municipality, approx. 7 mil (about 70 km) from Tromsø. In Tromsø we still have large parts of our operations. Our historic premises in the Mack quarter in central Tromsø house our administration, in addition to Kjeller 5, Mack Mikrobryggeri and Ølhallen. Here we also offer tours of our old brewery premises.
