Do you want to take on greater technical responsibility without leaving the code? We are now looking for a Tech Lead for our Attestation team!

About the role

The Attestation team builds the approval and sign-off process in flows such as supplier invoices, expense management and payslips. Attestation is about security, control and smoothness - we develop the approval flows, attestation functions and rule engines that our customers depend entirely on to manage their processes in a safe way. By automating and securing these flows, we save invaluable time for hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs every day, and prevent costly errors before they occur.

This means the technical choices really matter. As Tech Lead you are involved all the way: from understanding the problem and discussing possible solutions, to building, testing, deploying and maintaining what we create together.

What you will do as Tech Lead

In the role you lead the technical work in the team and ensure that we build scalable, secure and sustainable solutions in line with our architectural guidelines and principles.

You will, among other things:

• Be the team's contact person for technical matters, both internally and externally.

• Work closely with Product Managers and UX/Design (the "triad") to ensure that the roadmap is realistic in terms of technical feasibility.

• Proactively drive the work on technical debt and improvements - before it becomes someone else's problem.

• Actively take part in development work and write code, so that your technical decisions remain grounded in reality.

• Communicate and escalate technical risks, critical obstacles and the need for architectural alignment to the Area Tech Lead and other stakeholders.

• Represent the team in forums with other Tech Leads for knowledge sharing and technical alignment.

You have the mandate to make decisions on the team's technical implementation, and to call and facilitate the meetings needed around technical design, architecture and technical debt.

• Backend: Java EE, Spring Boot

• Data & events: PostgreSQL, Kafka and event-driven architecture

We work AI-driven in our day-to-day work - tools such as Claude Code are a natural part of how we build, test and understand code together. As Tech Lead you help shape how AI is used in the practical development work, not just talk about it.

About you 
We are looking for someone who:

• Has several years of experience in software development and thrives full-stack, with a good command of both frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Java/Spring Boot).

• Is confident enough in the technology to make decisions, and humble enough to change them when the basis changes.

• Has a natural ability to facilitate technical discussions, reach consensus and drive choices forward - even when the team disagrees.

• Enjoys seeing both code and colleagues grow, and shares what they know with those who are new to the role as well as with the more experienced.

Extra plus:

• Experience of event-driven architecture and distributed systems, for example Kafka.

• Experience of driving technical initiatives that span several teams.

• You have already been the one others ask when things are difficult.
