Senior QA Engineer - Test Automation / Xray / Robot Framework / Postman

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to support our clients, major players in retail, e-commerce and digital services, in redesigning and optimising their regression testing strategy.

Within Agile teams, you will work closely with developers to build a coherent test coverage, taking into account existing arrangements: unit tests, integration tests, automated tests and manual acceptance testing.

You will identify scenarios with high added value for automation and contribute to their implementation, relying in particular on Xray, Robot Framework and Postman.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse existing practices and define changes to the regression testing strategy.

• Design, organise and track test campaigns in Jira and Xray, ensuring traceability of scenarios, results and defects.

• Identify and prioritise scenarios to automate according to their business criticality, recurrence and associated risks.

• Develop, maintain and evolve automated tests with Robot Framework, in collaboration with development teams.

• Design and run API tests with Postman.

• Carry out the necessary manual test campaigns and support their progressive automation.

• Write test scenarios in Gherkin.

• Analyse results, qualify defects and track their resolution with the teams concerned.

• Use application logs and database data to help identify the causes of incidents.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Document test scenarios, frameworks and processes.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA and validation practices.

Your profile:

You have at least 10 years of experience in software quality assurance, with solid expertise in test automation and regression testing strategy.

You know how to step back from an existing test coverage, propose concrete improvements and support their implementation within Agile teams.

Your technical skills

• Proficiency in Robot Framework for designing and maintaining automated tests.

• Proficiency in Jira and Xray for managing test repositories, campaigns and defects.

• Good command of Postman for testing and validating APIs.

• Good level of Python, in particular for scripting and developing test libraries.

• Knowledge of Selenium and BrowserStack.

• Proficiency in SQL to check data and carry out the necessary investigations.

• Use of Git and knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes.

• Proficiency in testing methods and regression testing challenges.

• Ability to analyse application logs.

• Experience writing scenarios in Gherkin.
